| 摘要： | The content of this eighth edition of the Smaller Groups handbook reflects changes that have occurred since the previous one appeared two years ago. Notably, Centrebus has acquired Arriva Midlands' Cannock depot and created a new Chaserider company to run it, Kelsian has put part of Tower Transit into the RATP Dev Transit London joint venture and has sold the rest of it to Stagecoach, while McGill's has acquired Xplore Dundee from National Express, thus justifying its inclusion in this rather than the Notable Independents book. Also transferred from Notable Independents is Lothian Buses, as the country's largest arms-length municipal is a bit of a mini group, with the Lothian Country, East Coast Buses, Lothian Motorcoaches and Edinburgh Bus Tours businesses run along with the main city operation. |
