| 摘要： | Reduced services along the scenic Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site linking Seaton (Devon) and Lyme Regis (Dorset) following recent Stagecoach cuts (Buses last month) face further cuts from October 31. AVMT Buses contracted route 378 reduces from four/five Monday-Saturday return journeys to a weekday only 09:25 and 12:35 from Lyme Regis and a 12:00 (plus commercial schooldays 15:00) from Seaton during the winter until April 7, despite the SW Coast Path attracting oneway walkers year-round. Stagecoach had run a daily year-round commercial Exeter-Seaton-Lyme Regis hourly 9A but truncated it to Exeter-Seaton from July 31. Devon County Council tendered a replacement 378 but Dorset Council declined to contribute, despite the majority of Stagecoach patronage having originated from Lyme Regis. |
