| 摘要： | The Traffic Commissioners have announced that the date for temporary Covid variations to local bus service registrations has been extended to April 1, 2022, which broadly aligns it with the expiry date of Bus Recovery Grant funding. The new extension will not apply automatically to registration variations received from the start of January, but operators will be able to specify a date for a temporary variation to be in force. Notice periods for changes will revert to normal from January 1, consisting of 28 days' notice to the local transport authority, and 42-days to the Traffic Commissioners. The periods are currently condensed to seven and 28 days respectively, with shorter notice requests currently routinely granted. Guidance now says short notice dispensation will be considered on its merits. |
