| 摘要： | The remaining example of London Transport's 164-strong fleet of MD class Metropolitans in the UK was a star attendee at the October 30 open day to mark Plumstead garage's 40th anniversary. When the garage opened in 1981 the type made up its entire allocation. The Muswell Hill running day, held on November 7 to mark 30 (plus one) years since the closure of Muswell Hill garage, saw 1949-built Mann Egerton-bodied Leyland Tiger TD89 (JXC282) in passenger service for the first time since completing restoration. It was allocated to Muswell Hill when new. Six routes operated employing RTs, RFs, Routemasters, a DM class Daimler Fleetline, a Metrobus and former Metroline Plaxton President-bodied Volvo B7TL, VPL630 (LK54 FWJ). |
