| 摘要： | Following the announcement that Arriva Kent & Surrey planned to close its garage in Guildford from December 18 (News November 2021) it was subsequently confirmed that talks with Falcon Buses to take over operations had ended without agreement. Surrey County Council (SCC) has now secured alternative provision for the tendered services previously provided by Arriva whilst continued operation of commercial routes has also been assured. The tendered Sunday service on route 3 (Guildford to Bellfields) will now be operated by Safeguard Coaches as will route 18 (Guildford to Onslow Village) which will be extended from Guildford bus station to Bushy Hill to partly-replace Arriva services 36/37 (Guildford circular via Merrow). |
