His letter of response in Buses October is full of ambiguous nonsense, whereby he says what he thinks we want to hear but to this jaundiced old ear, it is typical corporate gobbledegook (I refrain from using the more graphic but vulgar eight-letter word). He doesn't tell us how often he rides a bus, either one of his or that of a competitor. Although I live some 6000 miles from Buckinghamshire, I am well- conversant with its county town of Aylesbury and the borough's bus services; that were. Little is left of them and from my personal viewpoint, Arriva is the author of its own misfortune. |
