| 摘要： | Based: Head office and depot - Ashby High Street, Scunthorpe (overflow parking at Kettering Road, Scunthorpe and one coach outstationed at Kirton in Lindsey). Founded: July 1914 by cycle shop owner Arthur Hornsby and son Joseph, operating ten-seat 1910 Minerva between Ashby and Scunthorpe on Friday and Saturday nights (both had day jobs]. Present site, opposite cycle shop, occupied from 1915. Traded 1919-48 as Primrose Motors after Arthur Hornsby acquired yellow paint for new bodies on ex-War Department chassis. Primrose logo incorporated into livery introduced for July 2014 centenary. Arthur Hornsby died 1959, Joseph's son Raymond took control 1966 and pioneered continental tours.
