| 摘要： | Burlingame, California-based Proterra, the largest US electric bus manufacturer, has pledged to maintain production after filing for bankruptcy. It made the announcement on August 7, 2023, after the close of the stock market. The pioneering bus-maker and battery pack supplier filed for creditor protection following insolvency. "While our best-in-class EV and battery technologies have set an industry standard, we have faced various market and macroeconomic headwinds", said CEO Gareth Joyce. Proterra said it aimed to continue business operations while it pursued a restructuring agenda in order "to strengthen its financial position through a recapitalisation or going-concern sale." |
