| 摘要： | My visit to First Glasgow's Caledonia depot for last month's feature about the introduction of electric buses there provided an opportunity for a look at the new housing built nearby on the site of the company's former Larkfield depot which Caledonia replaced in 2014. This was a bit of a personal pilgrimage, too, as I worked in an office on the Larkfield site for almost three years in the 1970s when the operator was Greater Glasgow PTE, the depot was called a garage and the office in question was housed within the central bus works that occupied half the site pre-deregulation -the top part in the plan still in use in the original garage building on a visit in 2009 when it was 80 years old. |
