| 摘要： | Tnoyota is proud that its British-built Corolla is the first model to get the fifth generation of its self-charging hybrid technology under the bonnet. The upgraded 1.8-litre powertrain promises more power and faster acceleration while maintaining good levels of fuel and emissions efficiency. Embodying Toyota's Kaizen principles, of continual small improvements, it incorporates lighter, smaller components and, beneath the rear seat, a 14% larger lithium-ion battery which contributes to a higher 140PS overall output yet is smaller and 14% lighter than before. Electrical losses have been reduced through a new power control unit with improved cooling and lower noise levels, and beneath it a new transaxle incorporates a more compact motor generator which is 15% lighter than before. Drivers moving from the old model should notice the 1.8 second drop in its 0-62mph acceleration - it'll sprint up to A-road speeds in just over nine seconds now. |
