The goal of this project, Promoting Research Results and New Technologies: Making the Case for Accelerated Deployment was to accelerate, via outreach and promotion, the deployment of promising projects of importance to the Caltrans Division of Research and Innovation. Three categories of outreach and promotion (i) internal, (ii) external, and (iii) a mix of both have been used to organize this document and to illustrate differences in the application of each type using guidance from Report 610, the NCHRP guidebook on communicating the value of transportation research. |
