| 摘要： | The objective of this study is to review the present state of knowledge regarding bridge-abutment scour and evaluate the leading methods currently used for estimating design scour depth. It focuses on research information obtained since 1990, and that must be considered in updating the scour-depth estimation methods recommended by AASHTO, and used generally by engineering practitioners. This summary defines the problem of abutment scour, describes the studys research approach, and presents its findings along with recommendations and suggestions for future research projects. |
