| 摘要： | Kapsch TrafficCom is to install an automatic toll system for heavy vehicles on several high-capacity roads in Spain's Basque region of Bizkaia. Awarded by public company Interbiak, the US$13.4 million tolling project will be carried out over the next 20 months by Kapsch as part of a joint venture with Construcciones Amenabar. "Our technology eliminates the traditional booths and barriers to maintain traffic flow and contributes to reducing emissions as the vehicle does not have to stop and start again in the collection area, similar to the technology applied in the M50 project in Ireland," said Steve Parsons, sales director at Kapsch TrafficCom. |
