| 摘要： | The International Road Federation is expanding its offering of events in 2022 with the organisation of four large-scale industry forums designed to ensure the latest knowledge and technology innovations continue to be applied in the delivery of road programs worldwide. IRF offers year-round speaking opportunities to leading specialists with a background in research, academia, and applied road engineering and management practices. In 2021, more than 400 speakers participated in an IRF conference or webinar. The end of the United Nations Decade of Action for Road Safety in 2020 marks the start of new forms of international collaboration to avert the continuing and growing epidemic of road traffic injuries, responsible for 1,350,000 fatalities per year. Key to the success of further efforts is the acknowledgement that no level of death or serious injury is acceptable. Taking human fallibility and vulnerability into account must thus become paramount priorities for all actors of the road transport system. IRF is fully committed to supporting efforts to translate Bulgaria's "Vision Zero" commitment into tangible policies and design guidelines and will be convening regional road safety stakeholders at a high-level conference taking place in Sofia, Bulgaria, on June 1-2, 2022. |
