摘要：	New York-based demolition company Federico Demolition is now using the largest demolition robot in the North American market. The 11 tonne Brokk 800S provides a 10m reach, and power on par with a machine three times its size. The firm is using this heavy-duty demolition tool for jobs that need powerful tools that can operate in confined spaces and urban areas. The Brokk 800S features the company's three-part arm, which provides manoeuvrability and can cope with a heavy attachment. For heavy-duty demolition, the 800S can be equipped with the 1.2tonne Epiroc MB 1200 breaker, an attachment usually recommended for 15-26tonne excavators. The 800S can be used with concrete crushers, drum cutters, grapples, buckets, drilling equipment and metal shears, as well for maximum versatility. Federico Demolition has used Brokk equipment in the past for its fleet and the company knew that this unit would fit its requirements for a versatile and powerful tool able to work reliably in confined spaces. Because the unit is operated remotely, this also helps to optimise safety for demolition equipment operators. Brokk provides support from three locations throughout North America: Monroe, Washington; St Joseph, Missouri; and Stanhope, New Jersey. In addition to sales, parts and equipment service, the firm offers onsite and virtual training options for customers.
