摘要: The owner of a Lamborghini Aventador in Canada may have time to reflect on his behaviour. He was seen driving his high-performance car at 170km/h in an area where the speed limit is a mere 60km/h.The section of road also has an unenviable record for crashes in the area, so police were less than impressed. The driver was charged and the vehicle impounded. Meanwhile, in Spain the driver of a Porsche 911 was spotted driving at 285km/h on a public highway where the speed limit is just 120km/h. A police helicopter had to be brought in to track the vehicle. He was later caught by officers in a patrol car who were directed to his location by the helicopter crew and charged with the speeding offence. Police in the Czech Republic are searching for the driver of a Formula One car spotted driving on a public highway recently. The single seat Ferrari was a 2004 model from the period when Michael Schumacher was driving for the team. This is not the first time an F1 car has been seen on a public highway in the Czech Republic. Some years ago a red Ferrari F1 car was seen on the D4 highway. Although the 45-year old owner of the car was traced, he could not be identified in images taken at the time of the offence as he was wearing a helmet and as he refused to say who was driving, no charges were pressed. The driver was once more wearing a helmet and it is not clear if the person can be identified. As F1 cars are not road legal, driving one on a public highway is an offence.
