Doosan is aiming its new DX100W-7 wheeled excavator at duties in urban applications. The firm says that the machine offers compactness and agility, combined with high performance. Weighing 10.7tonnes, this wheeled excavator is the first machine from the firm to compete in the 10tonne wheeled excavator class. According to the firm, the DX100W-7 offers a high-performance solution for customers looking for a wheeled excavator for urban and road maintenance applications. The DX100W-7 offers productivity and can operate in very restricted areas, with the option of four-wheel steering and a crabbing mode, with two-wheel steering as standard. Doosan says that the machine offers safety and performance, with an integral 1.35tonne counterweight ensuring stability for lifting work. In combination with the articulated boom and long arm, this provides a greater working range than other machines in this class. The counterweight also has a novel design, offering good maintenance access from the rear of the machine and from ground level. |
