摘要：	This report presents the highest 5% of the state highway locations identified by our original SMS program methodologies deemed to be in most need, or had been in most need of safety improvements at the time. These locations were originally developed from the NJDOT Crash Records Database using 1998-2000 data for the four Intersection Improvement Program lists and 1999-2001 data for the Safe Corridor Program, however, some new locations are being listed as they fall within the top 5% of the four, more recently generated IIP lists. They are grouped by the type of crash reduction or improvement program currently existing at NJDOT. Some of the locations have been completed; others are slated to be improved within our Capital Program; and others have had interim improvements completed through our Maintenance Work Order Process. Contained in body of the Departments full HSIP Annual Safety Report was a description of the methodologies for each of the five NJDOT programs contained in the 5% Report.
