We do the research for you. FPT Industrial and its partner Frydenbo Industri AS unveiled the new keel-cooling C16 600 diesel engine at this year's Nor-Shipping conference. The new engine is designed for pushboats, tugs, harbor workboats and dredges that work in brownwater waterways and harbors. The engine is positioned on the keel or incorporated into the hull so it is in constant contact with the water, cooling it down without the need to circulate salt water through the engine, preventing frequent obstruction of the seawater filter and damage to the impeller. |
