| 摘要： | John L. "Johnny" Bludworth Ⅲ passed away at his home in Hockley, Texas, on May 15, 2022. He was 79. Bludworth began his careerin 1955 working summers for his father and uncles asa helper at Bludworth Shipyard in Houston. He went on to start John Bludworth Marine Inc., Pasadena, Texas, in 1975. He also helped hisfatheropena shipyard in Corpus Christi, Texas, and eventually purchased theyard in 1989. The Corpus Christi yard, now called John Bludworth Shipyard LLC, isstillinoperation. The Department of the Interior announced results in May from its wind energy auction in the Carolina Long Bay area, the second major offshore wind lease sale this year. The sale drew competitive winning bids from two companies, TotalEnergies Renewables USA LLC and Duke Energy Re-newables Wind LLC, totaling $315 million. |
