摘要：	The Woods Hole, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket Steamship Authority announced in August that it will purchase two 240' offshore supply vessels from Horn-beck Offshore Services, Covington, La. The 240-class sisterships, the HOS Lode Star and HOS Shooting Star, previously serviced the Gulf of Mexico offshore oil and gas industry. The OSVs, which will replace the 235'×40'open-deck freight vessels Gay Head and Katama, have been renamed the Monomoy and Aquinnah. The Gay Head and Katama, which joined the Steamship Authority fleet in the late 1980s, were also converted OSVs.
