Alan Bernstein about recreational vessel operator licensing/training (WorkBoat, September 2023, Captain's Table, "Time to license recreational boaters"). This September on Cheatham Lake, northwest of Nashville, Tenn., a 36-year-old father with a nine-year-old son were riding aboard a jet ski when it crashed into a barge killing both. |
