| 摘要： | Decisions on how state and federal transportation funds are to be used are made through a highly structured transportation planning process. The process is structured to comply with mandates of the federal government. It requires the participation of regional entities, provides opportunities for public input, and is coordinated and led by the Connecticut Department of Transportation (ConnDOT). When implementing this process, ConnDOT and other participants must also comply with various state mandates. This document identifies and discusses the requirements, products, and public participation components of a planning process that is designed to develop long-term transportation plans and advance them into specific transportation improvement and maintenance programs and projects. |
