The Russian invasion of Ukraine has already deprived its seaports of millions of tons of cargoes, including transit supplies, but goods still need to be delivered. Bypassing one-sixth of the world's land surface is a tricky task. Seaports in the Caspian region have a chance to become more important international transit hubs, but it is yet to be seen whether they can really make it. |
