The International Port Strategy course 2024 will be held online from April 15 to May 10,2024 with a combined one-week visit and workshops in Antwerp, Belgium, from May 13 to 17, 2024. This course is a joint effort between the Antwerp/Flanders Port Training Center (APEC), Antwerp Management School and the IAPH. It is designed for C-level executives, strategists and other professionals from ports, terminal operators, shipping lines, logistics service providers or consulting firms. The course aims to give participants a comprehensive understanding of the global port industry as a key component of the global value chain. Participants will gain insight into how these trends are shaping the port industry and the strategies needed to navigate them successfully. The course contains six modules: global macroeconomic and geopolitical shifts, reflections on climate change, changes in the global supply chain, regional evolutions in port development, port management, and strategies and perspective of the various actors in the supply chain. Speakers will feature representatives from UNCTAD, the World Bank, several universities, global ports and maritime organizations. |
