| 摘要： | Ship to Shore Connector (SSC) is the Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) replacement. It is an Air Cushion Vehicle with the same footprint as the LCAC Service Life Extension Program. The SSC mission is to land surface assault elements in support of Operational Maneuver from the Sea at Over-The-Horizon distances, while operating from amphibious ships and mobile landing platforms. The primary role of SSC is to transport weapon systems, equipment, cargo, and personnel of the assault elements of the Marine Expeditionary Brigades and the Army Brigade Combat Teams during Ship-to-Objective Maneuver and Prepare for Movement operations. |
