| 摘要： | Yanmar has high hopes for the new 6LF series with 485, 530 and 550 hp V8s. Designed for gliders and semi-gliders up to 16 m, the EPA Tier 3 and EU RCD Stage 2 6LF common rail diesel has fallen on unexpectedly fertile ground in the superyacht tender sector. »It has taken us a bit by surprise,« says Floris Let-tinga, director of sales and marketing at Yanmar Marine. »The superyacht world is growing - and towards larger yachts. This in turn means an increasing demand for larger tenders in the 12-15 metre range. And for such applications, six-litre, 500 hp waterjets are usually of interest.« With the new 6LF engine also comes the new VC20 electronic control system, which Lettinga says is designed to be more flexible in terms of scalability and more of a future-proof platform. Accordingly, a whole range of new options are likely to be offered in the near future. The VC20 is also designed to be more user-friendly in terms of system integration. There are several new features, including a Perfect Pass option offered for the towing market. |
