摘要: |
The impact of the new Silicon Carbide (SiC) material based devices on a full system is evaluated in order to facilitate cost-benefits analysis of replacing Silicon (Si) devices with wide bandgap (WBG) devices in vehicle systems. In this paper the results obtained with a full-system vehicle simulation on the standard US06 driving cycle are presented. The results provide an insight to the difference in performance of a permanent magnet traction drive system using SiC versus Si devices. |
