This document report on issues that contains the 2012 Thomas B. Deen distinguished lecture on the future of public transportation. This issue also contains 20 other papers that explore the business plan approach of a transportation agency; distribution of federal transit funds; Friday exceptions in weekday schedules for urban transit; passenger incidence (station arrival) behavior; and extra-board performance.
