摘要: This research provides the first comprehensive study of all state-level, transit-related ballot propositions from California between 1990 and 2010. This information can be used by policy makers and others to better understand the role of the following sets of factors in explaining support for transit: 1) Income, unemployment and other socio-economic variables, 2) Age, educational attainment, race/ethnicity, and other demographic variables, and 3) Political ideology, as measured by Republican and Democratic party membership.
