摘要：	Airport parking structures are integral to the travel experience and provide an important revenue source for airport operations. Like any physical asset, a parking structure has a finite service life and requires regular maintenance and periodic structural repair and restoration. Because of the constant access required by travelers, undertaking maintenance and structural repair in a parking structure while it remains in use presents many challenges, including maintaining a high level of services at all times and establishing appropriate patron and asset protections. As a result, it is desirable to have a balanced and methodical approach to meet those challenges. The objective of this synthesis report is to provide information on developing and implementing successful maintenance and repair strategies for in-use airport parking structures that have the least impact on the airport patrons, revenue stream, and facility operations. A group of 15 airports were identified and contacted for their participation in this survey. Twelve airports (eight large hubs and four medium hubs) responded, for a response rate of 80%. Survey questionnaires were developed and sent to the airport operators and managers prior to administration of the telephone interviews.
