| 摘要： | The SmartWay 2.0 Trucking Model utilizes the most up-to-date emission factors, in combination with detailed vehicle activity data, to estimate precise, accurate emission performance measures Partner truck fleets. While the previous version of the truck carrier model (FLEET) calculated the likely fuel and emission reduction benefits of specific advanced technologies (e.g., through the adoption of certified aerodynamic retrofits) relative to a pre-control baseline, the new model is designed to calculate actual pollutant emissions for specific truck types and applications. The modified model thereby allows fleet operators and shippers to determine the carbon-footprint associated with their freight activity, as well as estimates for NOx and PM emissions. |
