| 摘要： | When asked about their favorite transit systems outside of their own systems, this year's group of 40 Under 40 honorees bucked a trend of the past few years by overwhelmingly citing global systems as opposed to North American systems. This could be a credit to the end of the COVID-19 pandemic and the growing ease of international travel, or it could be that a surprising percentage of this year's honorees, more than 20 percent, are immigrants or the children of immigrants and global travel has been an integral part of their lives. Paris Metro was the clear favorite among honorees followed by Transport for London and Stockholm Public Transport. In North America, Chicago Transit Authority, New York City Transit, San Diego Metropolitan Transit System and PATCO were named as favorites among this year's group of honorees. |
