摘要：	The new-construction division of FMT Shipyard & Repair, located on the Harvey Canal in Harvey, La., is currently in the midst of building a 12-ves-sel series for Metairie, La.-based Maritime Partners LLC. The towboats will each measure 67.5 by 29 feet and offer 1,600 hp. FMT Shipyard delivered the first four boats to Maritime Partners in 2022, with the company receiving positive feedback from customers and crews as to the handling and operation of the vessels. The shipyard attributes that, in part, to Entech, which designed the vessels, along with the high-quality workmanship and pride of FMT Shipyard's employees and vendors. The first six vessels in the series feature two Caterpillar C32 800 hp. Tier Ⅲ engines, with the latter six to be equipped with a pair of Mitsubishi S6RW-Y3MPTAW 800 hp. Tier 3 engines.
