| 摘要： | Civil works structures must be continually evaluated for structural safety, stability, and operational adequacy. The overall objective of the investigation-documented in the report>is to develop information essential to the continued safety of concrete used in civil works structures such as flood control and multipurpose dams, navigation locks and dams, powerhouses and appurtenant structures, floodwalls, pumping stations, and similar structures. Specific objectives include (a) development and evaluation of materials and techniques for repair and rehabilitation of civil works structures,(b) development of engineering guidance to evaluate and monitor safety of structures, and (c) development of design and construction methods for rehabilitating older structures to comply with current structural design criteria. This report summarizes pertinent inspection procedures and methods of evaluation used by the Corps of Engineers in evaluating concrete civil works structures. Methods of evaluation include experience gained at the Waterways Experiment Station. Techniques are presented which have a potential for ascertaining the extent and cause of inadequacies in concrete structures, |
