| 摘要： | Abstract: This CSER addresses the criticality limits and process controls related to removal of several hundred feet of abandoned 3 and 4 Inch nominal diameter vacuum header, and associated smaller diameter piping runs, located In the duct level of the 234-5Z Building In rooms 262, 263, and 264. The material In the duct was presumed to be wet so that optimum moderation was assumed for the analysis. It was determined that, with proper precautions, sections of duct containing up to 4 kg of fissile material could be cut, transported to an NOA station, and thence to disposal or to Glovebox 235-B-2 for additional sectioning and cleaning as required. |
