| 摘要： | Marine Solutions recently celebrated a milestone for the commercial diving inspection industry by having its first all-female dive team assigned to a project. The team is conducting inspections of the Brooklyn Navy Yard for the Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation as part of its Captial Project Scope Development study. Having an all-women, ADCI-certi-fied dive inspection team is significant as the commercial diving industry is traditionally male-dominated. It is the first time in Marine Solutions' 16-year history to have an all-female team assigned to a project, said Karen Tenfel-de, business development director for Marine Solutions, which is based in Nicholasville, Ky., but has six offices in Kentucky, Ohio, Maryland, New Jersey and New York. Marianna Fleming, a project engineer as well as one of the members of the dive crew, said she was excited to be part of the team. |
