| 摘要： | A technical seminar on “Treatment of Household Wastes, Septage and Septic Tank Effluent”, was held at the Lenox Institute of Water Technology (LIWT), on November 8, 1999, for the LIWT graduate program (Master of Engineering in Water Technology). The major educational materials on “Individual Household Systems” were provided by the New York State Department of Health, Albany, New York. Topics included household sewage flows, soil and appraisal, sewer, septic tanks, subsurface disposal, and alternative systems. Technical information on septage characteristics, septage treatment, and septic effluent treatment was provided by the US Environmental Protection Agency, Washington DC, and the Lenox Institute of Water Technology, Lenox, Mass. |
