| 摘要： | For years the Old Boat Column has been a popular feature of The Waterways Journal due to the writings of Jim Swift, Alan Bates and, for the last 10 years, Keith Norrington. Keiths contributions have always been well researched and interesting, giving us a historic glimpse of the challenges of what past rivermen had to contend with in doing business on the river. Thanks, Keith, for your years of dedication and fine work. The Waterways Journal welcomes letters from readers on any subjects related to the river industry. Letters sent for publication should be addressed to: Letters to the Editor, The Waterways Journal, 8820 Ladue Road, Suite 301, St. Louis, Mo. 63124, or sent by fax to 314-241-4207, or email to letters@waterwaysjournal.net. Subject matter is not limited, but standards governing decency and libel apply. Writers are asked to limit letters to 250 words, or one double-spaced, typewritten page. The WJ reserves the right to shorten longer letters and to edit for clarity. The writer's name and address are required for all letters. |
