For the year 2022 the nominee's age should not be more than 45 years. The particulars about the award are given below: This award has been instituted by the IRC during Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru Birth Centenary Year and will be made each year for outstanding contribution in the field of Highway Engineering. Award will be in the form of medal/Citation certificate and will be made annually for notable and outstanding contribution, applied or fundamental, in the field of Highway Engineering (including Bridges). For recognizing outstanding work in engineering technology, utilization, etc. in the highway sector and encouraging young and upcoming engineers/scientists in the profession. |
