| 摘要： | On October 11-13 of 2004, 75 professionals from three countries gathered in Madison, Wisconsin for the first national peer exchange on highway maintenance quality assurance. The peer exchanged aimed to create a professional network for sharing information in the future, to provide an understanding of current MQA programs, to determine a national agenda for MQA programs, and finally to report on existing common measures. Participants attended break out sessions and roundtables. Six critical next steps were identified by the participants including: determining how to use conditions and dollars to predict outcomes, developing a budget allocation model or toolbox that is not only based on historical expenditures but also MQA and feature inventory, developing or identifying meaningful and consistent performance measures for winter operations, integrating pavement management and maintenance management systems with MQA, creating a guide to MQA statistics, and creating a guide to tell your story. |
