摘要: The National Park Service, in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration Eastern Federal Lands Highway Division, proposes to rehabilitate the Rock Creek and Potomac Parkway from Virginia Avenue to P Street, NW and the Thompson Boat Center parking area in Rock Creek Park, Washington, DC. This Environmental Assessment analyzes the potential environmental impacts that would result from the implementation of the proposed Rehabilitation of Rock Creek and Potomac Parkway from Virginia Avenue to P Street, NW and the Thompson Boat Center parking area in Rock Creek Park. This Environmental Assessment has been prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, the regulations of the Council on Environmental Quality for implementing the Act (40 Code of Federal Regulations 1500-1508), and the National Park Service Directors Order No. 12 (Conservation Planning, Environmental Impact Analysis, and Decision-making) (NPS, 2001).
