| 摘要： | The European Commission has estimated that about 80 million Europeans are exposed to unacceptable noise levels. Road traffic is the main source to at-the-source-noise. The report provides an overview of what is known about different types of noise abatement efforts (on vehicles, tyres, road surface and speed). Some tentative suggestions on what to do under Nordic conditions are given. |
