摘要: |
This report describes the development of a microprocessor based hardware design that automates intelligent transportation system (ITS) network configuration for differing modes of traffic controller operation. The design, called Controller Interconnection Network (CIN), is scalable. Up to 20 traffic controllers can be interconnected with a single network or in up to four parallel networks, permitting multimodal operation. The CIN enables communication between controllers and also allows users an interface to enter controller settings. The design allows remote control of some operations via a web-based interface. |
