| 摘要： | This report describes a process for estimating the safety impacts of installing or removing traffic control signals and recommends an improved Crash Experience warrant for the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). The estimation process can be used during the engineering study to determine if a traffic signal will improve the overall safety of the intersection. The report will be useful to traffic engineers determining the most appropriate traffic control device for an intersection. |
