The purpose has been to analyze passengers' preferences and evaluations of the quality of public transport, as well as finding out whether passengers' evaluations have changed over time. Internet was used to collect data. Those who did not have access to the internet were given the opportunity to fill out a form on paper. The method, which was used to chart preferences are called stated preference analysis. The focus has been primarily on journey time with and without seats, walking time, headway, delays and changing or not changing. The rail factor has been analyzed, and the data has been compared to results from a similar study in 1992. |
