| 摘要： | The intent of this paper is to present a justification of MDTs Maintenance Divisions decision to choose the materials and techniques currently used for winter maintenance. This paper will present background information including traditional methods for MDT and how it varies from other states and the need for changing from these traditional methods. Further, the paper addresses current methodologies employed by MDT, including a discussion of techniques and materials. Finally, the paper presents conclusions, additional thoughts and future considerations. |
