| 摘要： | Water is the mortal enemy of good pavement performance, and pavement design, construction and maintenance procedures have evolved to combat the evil deeds of water. Asphalt concrete surface layers are the roofs for pavement structures and prevent infiltration of surface water. At least the roof analogy seemed legitimate until implementation of the Superpave mix design system. Observations appear to indicate that Superpave designed asphalt concrete may be more permeable than expected and possibly more permeable than desirable. |
