| 摘要： | This is the third EPA report on the subject of automobile fuel economy. The two previous reports were published in November 1972 and October 1973. The previous EPA reports have been studied and commented upon by other government agencies, the Congress, state and local governments, private citizens, fleet operators, motor vehicle manufacturers, and fuel producers. This report is intended for the same broad audience. This report contains new information on emission controls and tampering, and the average fuel economy of the 1975 cars. It also includes information on driving patterns and their effect on fuel economy. Thus it should aid drivers as well as car buyers in making choices which can affect their gas mileage. |
