摘要: This presentation presents how a network architecture methodology developed for the Armys Future Force could be applied to the requirements of Civil Support, Homeland SecurityHomeland Defense CS HLSHLD. This architecture application design will demonstrate how to link the sensors, command and control, and communications systems of local, state, regional, national and DoD elements. The architecture definitions and specifications of the inter- and intra-agency links would be usable in real-world operations as well as enabling the representation of CS HLSHLD scenarios within large scale stochastic simulations e.g., the Combined Arms and Support Task Force Evaluation Model CASTFOREM. Representation in detailed stochastic simulation allows the evaluation of the impact of proposed hardware or software before acquisition or fielding. This methodology can also be used to develop operational and contingency plans by evaluating different options for possible real world events.
